Ellie's Baptism and More

Ellie was baptised on January 3rd and she had a very good day. I appreciate all of you who came, it really made Ellie feel special. She loved seeing her cousins especially those from Utah cause she doesn't get to see them very often. Ellie sang "If The Savior Stood Beside Me" with her cousins Alli and Ashlyn.

When the bishop asked Ellie if she and her dad had been practicing and preparing for her baptism she said, "No, My mom has been practicing with me in the bathtub." She was right.
She was very nervous but the entire thing went very smooth.

I was looking for a family picture of us in 2008 and I can't find one. So I think this is the first one we have taken in awhile.

Ellie's Grandma Scherer gave a talk and Grandpa Scherer gave a prayer

Grandma Peck also gave a talk and Grandpa Peck prayed. Ellie made all the decisions about her baptism program and asked everyone to talk, sing, and pray herself.

A Few Pictures from Christmas in Carey. I know they are late but you should be used to it by now.

This is Ellie and Cooper trying to drag Brylee out of the snow who was screaming the whole time.

What a look!!

Alivia (Kami's), Brylee, and Kaylee (Leslie's). These three played so well together and I just love them.

Here they are again as the Three Wise "Princess" for the Nativity Play on Christmas Eve. They wouldn't dress like Kings but they would dress like princesses. So we just let them think what they wanted.

The entire Cast!

Oh so cute! I can't believe Ellie is 8..it seems like yesterday she had a diaper full of sand on the beaches of Hawaii!

I am so glad we were able to be there for her special day (and lead the music;) You guys are awesome and wish we lived closer so we could see you more!
